The vegvísir is an icelandic magical stave intended to help the bearer find their way through rough weather. This symbol is described in the icelandic collection of spells known as the Huld manuscript. According to this, if the vegvísir is carried, one will never lose one’s way in storms or bad weather, even when the way is not known.
In this watchface, the vegvísir have the prominence, without any additional info displayed, and including only the hands for the time and the numbers made using a runic font.
