VXP Watchfaces

Which smart watches supports VXP watchfaces?

VXP watchfaces are compatible with any smartwatch powered with Mediatek's MTK2502 CPU. Some models of this kind of smartwatches are:

· No.1 G2, G3, G5, G6, G7, G8/Gs8, S9.
· IWO 1,2,3,4,5,6,8.
· Kingwear K88H, KW18.
· Lemfo C1
· Microwear L7.
· WatchOut Gen2.
· Zeblaze Crystal, Zeblaze MiniWear.

NOTE: Deppending on the model, the watch storage capacity could be low and not be able to install the watchfaces. That's the case, for example, of the Microwear L7, a model that only allows to install watchfaces with a file size lower than 45 KB.

Why this watchfaces doesn't show some info elements like battery info or the date, as some of the watch's stock watchfaces?

Unfortunately, the firmware developers didn't release the code or method to develop those watchfaces. The method VXP watchfaces creators uses to make them was discovered and shared by a member of the community called Afif Zari, and only allows to use the hands for the time in analog watchfaces and the hours, minute and am/pm text in the digital watchfaces.

For the same reason, it's not possible to develop watchfaces showing analog and digital time at the same time. Must be one, or the other, but not mixed.

How can I install the VXP watchfaces?

Basically, you must follow the following steps:

1.- Download the watchface and extract the compressed (ZIP or RAR) File. You'll have 3 files (.png, .vxp and .xml).
2.- Copy the 3 files to the "appmanager" folder in your phone.
3.- Open Mediatek SmartDevice or Fundo SmartDevice (the one you hve installed in the phone).
4.- Tap in the option "My Applications".
5.- Find the watchface in the list and tap the button "Install".

You can click HERE to see the tutorial, with pictures, to install VXP watchfaces in your watch.

And what do I have to do to uninstall watchfaces?

The process is identycal in almost all the steps, but in the step 5 you must tap the button "Uninstall".

IMPORTANT: To avoid problems in the watch, you must select a different watchface (better one of the stock watchfaces) to be in use BEFORE uninstalling the watchface.

When I try to install new watchfaces the watch says there's not enough space

As mentioned before in "Which smart watches supports VXP watchfaces?", some models have a low storage capacit and doesn't allow to install watchfaces.

For example, the No.1 G8 didn't allow it when it was launched because the firmware didn't leave enough space. Later, No.1 relased a new firmware removing some options, so the watch had space to install custom watchfaces.

Similar, and at the same time different, is the case of the Microwear L7. This model has a very low storage capacity, which only allows to install apps/watchfaces with a file size lower than 45 KB. And for what I know, Microwear didn't relese any new firmware to solve it. Unfortunately, the watchfaces file size usually are bigger than 45 KB. But I have some that can be used. One of them is my watchface called Black Simplicity (click here) or one of my latest ones, the watchfaces pack called FitSport (click here).
